First Quarter Economic Growth in the U.S. Just 0.2

The Commerce Department released figures yesterday that showed economic growth in the U.S. was at an annualized rate of just 0.2% for the first quarter of 2015. Many financial analysts agree this was only realized through a positive increase in private investment and personal consumption. The first quarter economic growth was described as “all but stagnated” by Paul Ashworth, chief economist with Capital Economics.
